A short trip becomes easier when the wardrobe and itinerary are both edited. A few compatible pieces and two or three priorities leave room for the unexpected.
Pack outfits, not individual pieces
Choose a small palette and make sure every layer works with more than one outfit. Shoes take the most space, so build the rest around one or two practical pairs.
Plan anchors, not every hour
Choose the neighbourhoods, reservations or experiences that matter most, then leave open time between them. Short trips feel longer when the schedule can breathe.
Keep transit simple
Compare the time, location and total journey rather than only the headline fare. A central arrival can be worth more than a cheaper option with a long transfer.
